Recently I was reading through some questions on Quora, and I noticed one of the questions in the entrepreneur section asked:

“ How can I start affiliate marketing without a website”?

To answer that question, I am going to create the next couple of blogs on the subject.

The first method that I’ll be showing is using the advertising platform: Microsoft ads.

So let’s start…

First, we’re going to be using a link from one of our affiliate marketing platforms. In this case, we will use our affiliate link for the online funnel building toolset: Builderall.

Step 1: Microsoft advertising login

The first thing that we will want to do is we are going to login to our Microsoft advertising account. If you do not have a Microsoft advertising account, then you can sign up for one here and begin using this platform for advertising.

Next, we are going to create an advertisement that will highlight the features and benefits of Builderall.

Step 2: Keyword research

So let’s look for some keywords to use in the headline for the advertisement. We want to utilize a couple of sources to do this. We are now going to need a couple of tools to help us find good strong long-tail and short-tail keywords to insert into our ad copy.

We want to utilize the search function on Pinterest and answer the public to find the most relevant keywords.

So first you want to start typing the first couple of letters for the product name, or what the product does(example: sales funnels), for our affiliate product into Pinterest and see what kind of pins are popular.

This tells us that one of the most popular long-tail keywords related to sales funnels is: sales funnels for beginners.

Next, we’re going to look at answer the public keyword tool to see what kind of long-tail keywords are attached to that product that we searched for in Pinterest.

Lastly, you want to use the Google keyword tool just to give you an idea of where those keywords are ranking in the Google search engine. That way it’ll give you an idea of the strength of those keywords are and how much it might cost(bids).

Next, we are going to complete our ads title and short description in the Microsoft ads platform.

Step 3: Creating the ad

Microsoft advertising allows you to run a direct link(no website) advertisements on their discovery search platform.

In essence, when people click on the affiliate links to your product, they will go directly to the company product/sales page.

Step 4: Completion

Now you’ve done it! You have created an advertisement using strictly your affiliate link, and the Microsoft ads platform so that when people are searching for this particular product online using the Microsoft Bing search engine, they will see your affiliate links add at the top of the search results.

Well done!
